This sofa is one of my favorite pieces in my apartment currently. It’s the perfect size for my small apartment, and the storage is a plus; all pillows fit perfectly when made into a bed.I assembled this sofa all on my own (please note it’s advised to have 2 people assembling). It took me a whole day but was not hard to do (also note there are no words with the instructions, making it a bit challenging). It comes in 3 boxes; mine arrived a day apart. When assembling, I thought I was missing parts but soon realized the ‘missing’ parts were in a box labeled ‘missing parts’ lol.
As for the L-shape, I wanted it to go on the right side instead of the left, as it’s supposed to be. I figured out a way to do so. On the side of the sofa where the arms are supposed to go, there are ‘hooks’ where you would normally place the arms. I decided to swap them in order to be able to change where the L-shape went.
Regarding the comfortableness of the sofa, it’s very soft with fluffy pillows. If you plan to use it as a bed for guests or personal use, I would recommend getting a mattress pad to add a bit more comfort, as the divide of the cushions is a bit uncomfortable.
It looks beautiful, though, and I would recommend it!
